RE-SIT EXAMINATION

FALIURE IS SUCCESS IF WE LEARN FROM IT

There is a mandatory 3-week stand-down time before re-sit of a failed written paper or oral examination.

Written Exam Resit Fees - 150 to 350 NZ $ per subject.

Oral Exam resit fees Click Here

Two failures may mean the candidate is required to redo the module before being allowed a third attempt. If you are required to redo the module, you will have to re-enroll and pay the FULL fees again.

If failures in the Engineering Knowledge written examinations or orals give the Examiner cause for concern about the candidate’s level of knowledge, the candidate may be told to return to sea for a period – six months or more – before being able to redo the course and re-sit the examinations.

* Rules for re-sit examination may be different for some subjects.

The above information is intended to be a guide only. Fees may be revised without prior notice.
